Severin Films has announced a special Manchester premiere of the Cliff Twemlow biopic Mancunian Man: The Legendary Life of Cliff Twemlow. Following its world premiere at August’s FrightFest event, this event will take the film back to where it all began.
Twemlow was one of the most prolific indie filmmakers that the UK produced in the 1980s, perhaps best known for the ultra-violent G.B.H. but who also produced films of all genres with a devoted team of local doormen, martial artists, variety performers, girlfriends and family members.
The film is directed by Jake West, and features exclusive new interviews, clips from Twemlow’s filmography and rare behind-the-scenes footage. The event takes place on the 12th of November at Cultplex, Manchester. Tickets are available here.

However, a dark secret in the house’s past unleashes a malevolent force that threatens to drag the family into the depths. Night Swim releases in UK cinemas on the 5th of January.
